WINE TASTING
Deep granate red color. Chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, coffee grains, cherry and leather aroma. Velvety texture in the mouth, concentrated with tannins, elegant.
VINEYARD
Soil: The vineyard grows on two types of soils: “Piedmont” : an abundant diatomite and a soil of diverse granitic origin, formed by intrusive igneous rocks, metamorphic rocks, limestone sediments, all meteorized, and “Topografía Plana” : mainly diatomite, lime and minerals, a very deep sandy soil with a higher level on carbonate.
Surface: 800 hectares
Location: The Queirolo vineyard, from which the vines come, is located at the foot of the Andes, 500 metres above sea level and more than 50 kilometres from the coast.
Grape varieties: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon / 45% Tannat / 10% Syrah
VINIFICATION
Harvest by hand, manual selection of bunches in perfect conditions. Destemmer, crusher. Fermentation with wild yeast between 25 and 30°C for 7 days. Natural malolactic fermentation. Ageing for 24 months in oak barrels.
